The fabric is a thin and smooth type with a very pleasant silk texture.
It is not brand new, but it is in excellent condition. There is a stains where I point out with my finger from ages but not noticeable.
The size is relatively large, which is quite rare. The image on the back features a ukiyo-e print. The kanji in the upper right corner reads "Utamaro hitsu" (Drawn by Utamaro). The woman with skin resembling white porcelain is particularly striking. The white areas show slight darkening due to age. Please check the photos and videos for more details.
Ukiyo-e is a type of Japanese woodblock print that developed during the Edo period. It depicts everyday life, customs, beautiful women, actors, landscapes, and more, reflecting the trends and culture of the time.
Utamaro (Kitagawa Utamaro) was a ukiyo-e artist from the late Edo period (late 18th to early 19th century) known for his expertise in bijin-ga (pictures of beautiful women). He was especially praised for his delicate and realistic portrayal of feminine elegance and splendor.

❝ We USE RE-USED KIMONOS and OBIS❞
We purchase Kimonos and Obis from familiar and reliable shops. We check the quality thoroughly before making it but there may be dirt that we don't notice during production, frayed fabric, wrinkles, weaving holes, scratches on the fabric, and a unique smell at the level that you don't notice. Please enjoy the taste of reused Kimonos including them. Thank you for your understanding!
