This Haori features a lovely Shibori. The fabric is soft and very comfortable to the touch. The combination of creamy yellow and brown is a chic, subdued color pairing. There are no noticeable stains, and the item is in good condition.

The fabric is adorned with beautiful Japanese traditional patterns:
Seigaiha (青海波): This classic wave pattern represents endless, calm waves, symbolizing eternal peace and good fortune. It's a wish for ongoing happiness.

Tatewaku (立涌): This pattern shows two curved lines rising vertically, like swirling steam or clouds. It symbolizes rising energy and good luck, with the meaning of "fortune rising."

Shippo (七宝): Inspired by the seven treasures of Buddhism, this interconnected circle pattern represents harmony, perfection, and endless connection.

Modified Kikkou (変形亀甲模様): A stylized tortoise shell pattern, in this case with floral designs inside each hexagon. The tortoise shell symbolizes longevity and good health.

These traditional Japanese patterns add a layer of meaning and beauty to this unique piece.

We USE RE-USED KIMONOS and OBIS
All the kimonos I handle are pre-owned. While the condition of items on the market varies, I carefully select only from stores where I personally inspect and touch each piece to ensure they are in good condition, with beautiful patterns and colors, and made of quality fabric.
After purchase, I sometimes discover minor stains, spots or scratches, but if the item is still perfectly wearable, these details are clearly noted in the description. Stains and spots may be due to age or wear, which is also documented. Please feel free to message me with any questions, or if you have specific requests for what you're looking for.

・Ironing it on a medium-high setting. Garments may also be steamed in a moderate setting.
・Cover the tapestry with a cloth when ironing.
