𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧

This haori is made of 人絹 (Jinken-mixture of silk and synthetic fiber) and from the early Showa era (around the late 1920s or 1930s). It's not pure silk, and the material feels a bit like summer wool.

This is an antique haori with a lovely, muted pink— a very traditional Japanese color. It has a subtle fan pattern in the weave, and is decorated with gorgeous chrysanthemums, peonies, plum blossoms, and wisteria. It's really vibrant! It's a longer style, typical of older haori.

The fan pattern, symbolizing prosperity, good luck, and growth, is a popular motif. Its flared shape has long been considered auspicious, often seen on kimono and obi for celebrations like weddings and Shichi-Go-San.

Although it's an older piece and has a vintage vibe, the fabric is in great condition and definitely still wearable. It’s a striking haori that will absolutely catch your eye.

All the kimonos I handle are pre-owned. While the condition of items on the market varies, I carefully select only from stores where I personally inspect and touch each piece to ensure they are in good condition, with beautiful patterns and colors, and made of quality fabric.

After purchase, I sometimes discover minor stains, spots or scratches, but if the item is still perfectly wearable, these details are clearly noted in the description. ・Ironing it on a medium-high setting. Garments may also be steamed in a moderate setting.
