This is a table runner made of Japanese Kimono obi (sash).  I take a single obi, originally nearly 4 meters(13’1.5") long, and cut it to create your custom table runner. The sizes are available in the following three options:

1-Almost like new. Mint condition - no spots or stains.

  This is a bold and beautiful obi with a large camellia on a black background. The fabric is thin and smooth without any surface texture. It incorporates a material that gives off a slight shimmer in the black base. Although it is a combination of red and yellow, it is not flashy but has a calm and elegant finish.

  The camellia is native to Japan and, because it retains its leaves throughout the winter, it has long been considered a sacred tree with spiritual power. It was used in Shinto rituals and as a ward against evil. Camellias are long-lived trees, some reportedly living for several hundred years. While camellias are not only red, but also white and pink, their blossoms are never ostentatious, but rather bloom with a subtle and beautiful grace. The contrast between the rich, glossy green leaves and the distinct color of the flowers is striking. Camellias are also favored in tea rooms. They have been widely beloved from ancient times to the present day, appearing in Japanese waka poems and as motifs on furnishings and tableware.

・Steam clean, wipe with a hot cloth, or dry clean is recommended.

・Ironing it on a medium-high setting. Garments may also be steamed in a moderate setting.

・Cover the table runner with a cloth when ironing.
