ABOUT
I made two types of bags using fukuro-obi (formal obi). The first is a brown obi with a charming pattern of small, continuous flowers. Its neutral brown tone makes it easy to match with any outfit. The tote, which is letter-sized, has shoulder straps made from obijime—a thin belt-like cord used to tie the obi when wearing a kimono. The straps are soft and comfortable to carry. Both bags feature an inner pocket for added convenience.
